What can be learned on the ground cannot be learned in the classroom

At PIS, we lay a strong emphasis on sports and physical development. Our sports curriculum is planned and designed for students to develop and enhance skills like strength, speed, endurance, agility, flexibility, control, balance etc. Sports today has also evolved as a form of entertainment and also offers promising careers.

As part of our vision statement is being Fit for Life, sports and physical education are an integral and important part of the life of the Pioneer Student.

The aim of the sports program is to ensure that all students are active during the day, every day, and to create an awareness of the importance of regular physical activity, fitness, teamwork and inculcate a positive competitive spirit and to carry these traits into the students’ adult life.
