The impressive Oath Taking Ceremony at Pioneer International School

Deserving young talents of the Pioneer International School, Sonkatch, were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence on August 11 held its 1st Oath Taking Ceremony in the school premises. 

The Ceremony started with a warm welcoming of following Guests: Dr. CA Pramod Kumar Jain Sir (Chairman, Pioneer Group), Mrs. Anshu Jain, Treasurer, Pioneer School, Ex Governor of Rotary Club Hon’ble Mr. Satyanarayan Lathi, Great Educationist of Sonkatch Hon’ble Mr. Tilok Chand Jain, President of Press Club Sonkatch Hon’ble Mr. Romil Patni, Secretary of Press Club Sonkatch Hon’ble Mr. Safad Qureshi and some more dignitaries, off the dias Principal & Teachers.

The school held the Oath Taking Ceremony with great enthusiasm. The Oath taking ceremony marked a significant beginning of the First Academic Year. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of leaders and a sense of responsibility the first “Prefectorial Body” is formed. This year Rajveer Bhawsar and Disha Maheshwari were elected as the head boy and head girl of the school.

The event opened with an impressive parade presented by the cadets and the Chief Guest and 65 cadets were invested with various responsibilities —Captains, Vice-Captains, Sports Boy, Sports Girl, Discipline Committee Members, Cultural Committee Members, Nature’s Club Members and Monitors. Addressing the parade, the Chief Guest lauded the achievements of the school on all fronts and emphasised the importance of team spirit and the need to motivate fellow cadets. He urged them to understand the importance of human resource management to succeed as leaders in today’s world of cut-throat competition. He suggested ways in which the students could better themselves by making use of the opportunities provided to them by the school, which on its part left no stone unturned in instilling values such as the hard work, discipline, diligence and commitment in its cadets. He encouraged all cadets to take part actively in events, saying that all great leaders in the world have remained great followers too. He also addressed all the cadets and guided them on how to prepare themselves for the Defence Services as well as the Civil Services.

The parade was followed by an oath-taking ceremony.

The function was presided over by the Principal Mr. Akash Jain . In her speech he encouraged the students to be committed to important issues and to always remember that leadership comes with integrity.

The impressive programme was witnessed by the parents of the new inductees, students and staff.
